It was great to hear that overlooked singer Imelda May on the radio today. She seems to have been 'discovered' by Radio 2 at last , and I am reminded of the truism that it takes many years of hard work to become an overnight success. I had the great pleasure of photographing her at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival back in April '08, and what a stunning performance she gave!
